Description: | On the afternoon and evening of Tuesday 2nd June, the Newton Institute will be hosting an Open for Business meeting, in collaboration with the Cambridge Endowment for Research in Finance and the Knowledge Transfer Network for Industrial Mathematics. The day will form part of our previous research programme on "Developments in Quantitative Finance". The purpose of the meeting is to give businesses and other organizations an opportunity to interact with international research leaders on current challenges and developments, and to network with others with similar interests. It is organised around overview talks by experts in quantitative finance, followed by a panel discussion.
