Abstract: I will present an overview of the history and existing body and methods of Borel summability and resurgence in PDEs. There are similarities as well as crucial differences between resurgence in ODEs (and other one-dimensional systems) and in PDEs, and I will clarify what these are. I will illustrate the main concepts and features on simple PDEs such as the heat equation as well as on realistic ones such as the large time resurgence of the one dimensional time dependent Schroedinger equation.
