Question: Do the Schools work together?

They do work together, and increasingly so. I think the roles of the Schools of the University have developed in the last few years, principally because the way budgets are devolved at School level from Centre University. And so, there is a requirement for a lot of co-ordination between Schools and, of course, a lot of issues now in the kind of research that we do, cut across departmental and School boundaries and, for example, in my School we work heavily with colleagues in Biology because a lot of exciting science is at the interface between disciplines.
