Description: | Danil and Sergei say that before World War II rivers in Kalmykia were full of fish. Fishing brigades went fishing in the spring or autumn and handed over their catch to fish processing factories. Apart from drying and salting, Kalmyks also stored fish in holes filled with ice. |
